Webinars

What are Webinars?
Webinars are a web-based service, allowing participants to see a Power Point presentation and listen to the instructor. You can use it from any computer (Windows, Mac, Linux or Solaris) with no complicated installation worries.

How does is work?
You'll receive a login code upon submitting your online registration and payment. About 5 minutes prior to the start of the Webinar you'll log in by double clicking the URL or placing it into your browser. Then you'll enter your name and other information into the welcome page to start the scheduled session.

Will I be able to talk to the instructor and other participants?
Participants call into a common bridge phone number at a designated time to participate in the class. There are typically toll costs, similar to any long distance call. If you don't choose to call in to the bridge phone number, you will simply hear the seminar through your computer's speakers, so be sure to turn on the volume control.

Smaller classes (usually up to 8 people) allow for participants to be on the telephone together, similar to a conference call, allowing them to hear each other's questions and participate together.

Larger classes will require that participant's telephones are muted and can either be un-muted at the end of the webinar, or participants can type questions into a participant "chat" field during the class that the instructor can see and answer.

How many people participate in the class?
A minimum number of 8 participants are required for public webinars which are open for anyone to register.

For private companies we require only two participants and the instructor.

What are the key benefits?
Primary benefits are the ability to schedule the webinar to suit your needs. This is particularly true for private clients. If you are a Human Resource professional with your PHR, SPHR or GPHR certification this is an excellent way to earn Strategic or General HRCI recertification units. We email you a certificate upon completion of the class!

You can participate from a home or office computer. You'll save time, gasoline and won't send emissions into the air! There is no paper work and everything is sent electronically, including webinar handouts. Printing is up to you.

How are webinars priced?
Webinars provide a company or organization an expedient and affordable way to invest in training for their key leaders, managers and staff. Webinars vary in cost, depending on length however, all classes are priced under $200 per participant. Pricing for each class can be found on the current class schedule.

What is the session length?
We have two options; a one-hour session and a two-hour session. During the two hour session we will take a 10 minute break (participants are asked to put their telephones on mute or hold - and not make outgoing calls). Then we reconvene for the remainder of the session.

What forms of payment are accepted?
All webinars are pre-paid to ensure the participant's spot in a class. Once you log into the registration your payment will be processed via Pay Pal. Advance registration is required.
